Africa Padel Shop — Padel Rackets & Gear South Africa Review
Africa Padel Shop stocks Adidas, Babolat, Bullpadel, Head, Joma and local Cape Town Padel Co rackets with Click & Collect at V&A. See what's worth buying and check for live deals.
Africa Padel Shop
Most padel rackets in South Africa land on chain-store shelves without much context, sorted by price rather than by who’s actually going to play with them.
Africa Padel Shop filters rackets by level — junior, beginner, intermediate, advanced — so the wall makes sense before you even read a spec.
What they do
Africa Padel Shop is the retail side of Africa Padel, SA’s largest padel facility operator. The shop sells rackets, padel-specific shoes, bags, balls, overgrips, court accessories and gift cards. Stocked brands include Adidas, Babolat, Bullpadel, Head, Joma, Kupe, Zlaant, Hyko and Cape Town Padel Company.
It runs as a multi-brand stockist filtered by player level rather than price, which makes the racket wall easier to read. If you’re kitting out for the season, it’s worth seeing what deals are currently happening in Sports on The Real Deal.
What to look at first
These are where most Africa Padel Shop buyers start.
Rackets by Level
Solid composite paddles filtered into junior, beginner, intermediate and advanced rather than price tiers.
Best for: picking a racket that suits your game instead of guessing at brand names.
Padel Shoes
Court-specific footwear including Adidas Courtquick and Crazyquick Lightstrike for women.
Best for: the side-to-side movement that rolls ankles in running shoes.
Bags and Racket Covers
Racket bags, backpacks and neoprene racket covers from the major brands.
Best for: carrying two rackets, shoes and a kit change in one go.
Balls and Accessories
Match balls, overgrips, edge tape, court socks and recovery items.
Best for: stocking up on the consumables that burn out fastest.
Kit Under R3500
A beginner bundle pulling racket, bag and accessories into one starter package.
Best for: a first padel kit-out without picking each piece individually.
Simple way to think about it:
For a first racket, use the level filter rather than the price filter.
If your game has stalled, a control-shape racket at the right weight often shifts more than another lesson.
Before you commit, it’s worth checking if there are any live Africa Padel Shop deals on The Real Deal before buying.
What makes them different
The biggest pull is the link to the actual courts. Africa Padel runs 20-plus clubs across SA, and the shop ties into that with Click & Collect at V&A and in-person advice at the Pro Shops. Buying a racket where you play with it is rare in SA padel retail.
The other difference is the level-based filter. Most retailers sort by brand or price; Africa Padel Shop sorts by who’s going to play with it, which saves guesswork on a first racket.

Final word
This is for you if:
- You play padel at an Africa Padel club and want to buy gear where you play.
- You want a racket filter that sorts by level rather than just by price.
- You value Click & Collect at the V&A or in-person advice at a Pro Shop.
Probably not for you if:
- You only need one entry-level paddle and don’t mind the chain-store wall pick.
- You’re after court bookings or coaching — that side lives at africapadel.co.za.
If you play padel and want a shop tied to the clubs where you play, Africa Padel Shop is built for that. Before you buy, take a second to see if there are any live Africa Padel Shop deals running on The Real Deal.
FAQ
Is Africa Padel Shop worth it?
Africa Padel Shop suits South African players who want brand-name padel gear — Adidas, Babolat, Bullpadel, Head — without a trip to a specialist shop, with click and collect at their V&A Waterfront store as a bonus. The trade-off is that delivery outside cities can take longer, so it pays to check the RealRank verified price before you buy.
Where can I find Africa Padel Shop deals in South Africa?
You can check current Africa Padel Shop deals on Africa Padel Shop on The Real Deal, where every price drop is RealRank verified.
Does Africa Padel Shop deliver nationwide in South Africa?
Yes. Africa Padel Shop ships to addresses across South Africa, with orders in cities and nearby areas usually arriving in 2 to 5 working days. Delivery is free over R750, and a R150 fee applies below that.
