Totalsports

You're kitting out a school rugby squad or a Saturday netball club and you don't want to bounce between three different suppliers to get boots, kit and balls all sorted.

That's the gap Totalsports was built to fill.

What they do

Totalsports is a specialised sports retailer, part of The Foschini Group, that focuses on team kit, athletic footwear and sports equipment. They stock rugby, soccer, netball, cricket and other team-sport gear alongside individual trainers and performance apparel across their store network.

The business pulls together bulk orders for schools and clubs as easily as single purchases, making it the first-choice for teams who need everything from jerseys to boots. If you're outfitting a side or buying individual kit for a team you play in, it's worth seeing what deals are currently happening in Sports on The Real Deal.

What to look at first

If you're new to Totalsports, these are the main sections.

Rugby Gear

Jerseys, shorts, socks, training kits and rugby-specific boots.
Best for: players and teams looking for both training and match-day kit.

Soccer and Football

Football boots, shin guards, training gear and team strips.
Best for: soccer players and clubs building a complete kit rotation.

Netball and Volleyball

Court shoes, apparel and sport-specific gear.
Best for: netball teams wanting matched kit and proper court footwear.

Cricket Equipment

Batting gloves, pads, cricket shoes and team wear.
Best for: players gearing up for a season.

General Sportswear

Multi-sport trainers, gym wear and casual athletic apparel.
Best for: people doing multiple sports and wanting a core wardrobe.

Simple way to think about it:
If you're buying for a team, go to that sport's section and contact Totalsports about bulk ordering.
If you're an individual player, check your sport first, then the general trainers section.

What makes them different

Most retailers stock team kits as an afterthought — a few generic options buried in the apparel section. Totalsports runs the opposite way: team kit is the core business, with proper depth in rugby, soccer and netball specifically. That focus means better stock, better sizing variety, and staff who understand what schools and clubs actually need.

The bulk-ordering capability also sets them apart. You can walk in and buy one pair of boots, or coordinate an entire team kit order across jerseys, shorts, socks and boots without hunting through five different stores or waiting for international shipment.

The practical bit

Shipping: Available nationwide via totalsports.co.za and multiple store locations for collection.
Delivery: Standard South African courier service or in-store pickup.
Returns: In-store returns or online returns through the Totalsports website.
Support: In-store help plus online customer service via https://www.totalsports.co.za, including bulk-order queries.

Final word

This is for you if:

• You're buying kit for a team, school or club.
• You play one or more team sports and want proper kit depth.
• You need bulk quantities without sourcing from multiple places.

Probably not for you if:

• You only want casual gym wear and lifestyle trainers.
• You prefer designer or fashion-forward athletic brands.

If you're outfitting a team or stocking up team-sport kit, Totalsports is the obvious South African choice. Before you buy, take a second to see if there are any live Totalsports deals running on The Real Deal.
